Okayy so I'm really happy because this is my first blog but I am also so nervous, to start with I am going to be talking about everything (AFRICANISH)our names, hair, clothes, skin, food and bodies.

Now if there is anything I love about being African parents its going to be that they are definitely have enough time to sit down and literally think about really long, unique and special names for their children. Now a typical NIGERAN name can be as long as a full sentence, an example is OLUWASINDARAAYOFUNMI ,Which means "God is still doing great wonders for me" the short form of this name would be DARA. I think its just very special but also hilarious, my name personally is ANUOLUWAPOTOMIWA ,Which means "The mercy of God is sufficient for me". I just really like the fact that a name can mean and have so much effect in a persons life.

The hair of most Africans are mostly natural and we say that, because our hair grows inwards not out, so that's why its called afro, now not all Africans have this but most have this afro styles which are very beautiful and looks good.

I love African traditional wears, it doesn't even matter where you are from in africa. I just love it because its always so full of color and definitely a site to want to behold. Trust me if you ever come across pictures of an African wedding it doesn't matter what culture, you would be marveled at how the mixtures of different colors you never even knew, could be a wonderful sight, I would definitely drop a picture so you can see what I mean.

I personally love the fact that africans love and cherish their skins, because I think we are very lucky to have beautiful, melanin dark skins which protect themselves from harmful things like harsh weather conditions.

They also carry themselves well no matter what size they are S,SM,M,ML,L,XL,XXL the list goes on and on, the point is they SLAY with whatever bodies they have on.

Finally the last thing I would like to talk about is African dish, Its very spicy has so many kinds of nutrient benefits and also still very tasty. It really confuses me sometimes how or who thought about some of this African dishes and how he/she was definitely right for trying to make it because trust me on this one, if you taste some kinds of African dishes like JOLLOF RICE,STIR FRY TURKEY or even the very famous POUNDED YAM accompanied with a nourishing EGUSI SOUP made up of melon, palm oil, locust beans, dried fish, assorted meat....If you notice all the names are in capital letters because you will be HOOKED when you taste any of this dishes, literally be HOOKED on it.

So this turned out to be a success, I just hope I have shared a little insight to what being African is and very much hope you visit anytime, just make sure to give me a call.. This is my own way of showing you how much being African is BEAUTIFUL.

P.S yes I know I have definitely not forgotten the pictures I promised.
